In 2002, Lewis Dick created the bamboo sculpture studio, to give a chance to students who can not go to university. The goal of this school is to provide them with training. According to the sculptor, some students have a difficult past and, through sculpture, they have the chance to come back to life. Since its creation, the Bambous workshop has forged a reputation that has not diminished over the years. Today, it welcomes about 2,000 people of any age per month.
