World Wood Day 2021 Music of Wood - myForest
Share WWD2021 Music of Wood is an online virtual event with the theme "myForest".
Live streaming performances stage beside forests and each participating group will introduce their unique musical instruments, playing techniques and interact with the audiences on live-chat. Pre-recorded "myForest" music videos will also be broadcasted.
WWD 2021 is welcoming artists around the world to submit music videos filmed beside forests. The music can be an original or a pre-existing composition. All video submissions will be judged by the quality of the performance and the suitability of the setting. Rewards will be offered to qualified participants.

All participating groups will select one well-known music piece from their country. Individual musicians can participate by submitting videos of themselves playing a part of a selected music piece from other groups at the designated tempo with a wooden musical instrument of their choice. Rewards will be offered to qualified participants.

WWD 2021 will bring pluck string, bowed string, keyboard, woodwind, percussion musical instruments makers from different regions to show you how they craft their musical instruments on live-streams. Pre-recorded musical instrumenting-making videos will also be broadcasted.
