Collaborative Project
This project is co-organized and hosted by NPO Mt. Fuji Wood Culture Society in Fujikawaguchiko, Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan. Wood materials used in this project are donated from the Takebayashi Family, lineage of Nara Itto-bori carvers and sponsored by the NPO Mt.Fuji Wood Culture Society and Kobo Komu.

Description:
Sixteen woodworking artists from around the world will work together over the course of two weeks to create a wooden sculpture installation. Woodworkers from a variety of genres, including sculptors, joiners, turners, and carpenters, will learn from each other's unique and rewarding techniques, respect each other, and hold discussions to create works that fit a theme.
