International Wood Culture Society invited outstanding woodcarving artists from all over the world to create woodcarvings with the theme of "life" on the boards of the specified size on the 6th World Wood Day, 2018 and its corresponding regional events. These woodcarving panels address the rich connotation of the culture of wood, emphasizing the importance and interrelationship of “wood and life” from different angles. A total of 125 works from 73 countries on 5 continents were collected and exhibited. These woodcarvings are all original works using native tree species of the country where the artist lives, to better preserve the original cultural and artistic atmosphere of the artist's region. All these woodcarvings are in same size, 30.5 cm in length and width, and 4 cm in height.
