Welcome to 2017 World Wood Day

Roots

Coming to its fifth celebration, 2017 World Wood Day (WWD) is presented with the theme “Roots” to review our identity and recall our appreciation of our culture as well as respect for diversity through the medium of wood.

Main Event - A feast to celebrate diverse roots, diverse cultures

The main celebration will be hosted in Long Beach, USA where a wealth of cultural values root and flourish. Together with participants from over 100 countries and regions, this grand celebration will definitely become a feast of cultures. A wide variety of activities will be organized, including a symposium, woodcraft activities, design and temple bus programs, folk art workshops, children's events and musical festival during the week of 21 March 2017.
