10:00 – 15:00 Training session combined with lecture on industrial safety applicable to woodworking, delivered by experts from the State Labour Inspectorate and the Forest District Office at Krasiczyn (PWSW, Aula)
March 18 -19
10:00 – 18:00 Presentation of Polish wood-structure gliders (Bocian, Pirat) which are in constant use in the Aero Club in Laszki (AZJ Laszki)

9:00 – 18:00 Craft and art workshops in the wooden-pipe factory - Mr Bróg (Poland’s leader in the industry)

8:00 – 16:00 Preparation for exhibition by regional woodcarvers and craftsmen
17:00 – 18:00 Lecture by Marta Trojanowska, PhD: Beauty Hidden in Wood (Wooden architecture of the region)

World Wood Day is a cultural event celebrated annually during the week of March 21st to highlight wood as an eco-friendly and renewable biomaterial and to raise awareness on the key role wood plays in a sustainable world. Starting from 2013, WWD celebrations were held in Tanzania, China, Turkey, Nepal, and United States respectively, involving participants from over 100 countries and regions.
