The opening ceremony was held on December 2nd. Local government leaders, 14 international root carving artists, Chinese root carvers of the 6th “Drunken Root Cup” root carving competition, guests from cultural and artistic fields as well as news media attended the opening ceremony.
International artists visited the Root Palace Cultural Tourism Zone and the Kaihua County Folk Village as a post-event tour.
