Following the main event of the "2019 World Wood Day" in Austria on March 19-24, the Slovakia regional event was successfully held on March 27th in Bratislava, Slovakia.
The event highlights wood as an eco-friendly and renewable biomaterial. It showcased Slovak folk art related to wood, together with representative Chinese intangible wood cultural heritage items. It is hoped this wood workshop event will help promote cultural exchange between China and Slovakia, and boost confidence of art and craft artists by sharing their knowledge, experience and passions.
