From Analog To Digital

The work basically involves simple form and shapes that are symbolic.  In African tradition, a drum is a symbol of communication. It is used to send various messages as well as entertainment.  The pool like dish is used to store prepare food and other valuables. Two motifs are to symbolize change in different forms of communication.  Analog to digital has the change in this modern day era.  One does not used to labour (physically) to send information in this modern day.  The drawing represents life physical part of communicate while the dish - digital era.
