*Music: "Tree Hymn" by Hirokazu Saito (Awarded song of the 1st WWD International Songwriting Competition)
The Japan Wood Culture Society (JWCS) and International Wood Culture Society (IWCS) organized a tree planting event at The University of Tokyo Tanashi Forest and the 1st World Wood Day International Songwriting and Ex-Libris Competitions with the theme of "Annual Ring" to promote the importance of wood and the splendid types of wood culture. Both events were held for the World Wood Day 2021.
