China-Iran Woodcarving Cultural Exchange

The China-Iran Woodcarving Cultural Exchange Event, jointly organized by the International Wood Culture Society (IWCS), World Wood Day Foundation, and IWCS Iran Working Group, was successfully held in Kermanshah, Iran.

Co-hosted by Kermanshah's Department of Intangible Cultural Heritage, Department of Culture and Tourism, and Kermanshah Wood Carving Art Museum, the event brought together eight renowned Chinese woodcarving masters and inheritors with prominent local Iranian artisans.

As one of the regional events of World Wood Day 2025, it aims to promote cultural exchanges between Chinese and Iranian woodcarving artists and build a cultural bridge for mutual learning and integration between the two ancient civilizations.
