The chair of the session for first topic “Carbon Capture and Storage in Forests, Wood and Non-Wood Forest Products” is Dr. Xavier Deglise, Academician of the French Academy of Agriculture. He first welcomed the participants from all over the world and congratulated the organization of the first World Wood Day Virtual Symposium in 2021. Dr. Deglise then introduced three speakers and their presentation topics as well as related information at the beginning of the session.
