THE WORLD WOOD DAY 2020 IN TOKYO, JAPAN IS CANCELED DUE TO THE CORONAVIRUS OUTBREAK
13 Feb, 2020The World Wood Day 2020 Organizing Committee has been closely monitoring the epidemic situation of the Coronavirus. With the increasing number of confirmed cases in the Asia-Pacific area, we are deeply concerned for the health and welfare of all WWD participants and the general public while traveling and during the event. The World Wood Day 2020 Organizing Committee has reached a very difficult decision to cancel the World Wood Day 2020 event in Tokyo, Japan.
We greatly appreciate your interest and support for the World Wood Day event and we understand calling off the event is a disappointing news. However, World Wood Day is about who you celebrate with and how you can contribute to the world meaningfully. We encourage you to celebrate World Wood Day locally in your own way and hope to hear from you again in the future.
