Global network and children activities devoted to wood education for kids
The World Wood Day Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that annually organizes the international, regional and local events World Wood Day (WWD). WWD promotes an eco-friendly concept and raises awareness on the value and responsible use of wood. WWD has been organizing global children activities devoted to the promotion of wood education for children since 2012. The children’s program has been one of the most important WWD programs. wood.kids is a dedicated safe space designed for children, parents and teachers to explore, experience and exchange that is divided into Explore - Experience - Exchange and Plant (from knowledge to fun to hands-on to tree planting). wood.kids will adhere to the .KIDS Guiding Principles.
